As Executive Director of Fraternus and author of Leaving Boyhood Behind, Craig brings years of experience mentoring boys and equipping families with a hopeful vision for forming the next generation. Join us at Christ On Main for “Sacred Music 101,” a four-week series on Tuesdays, September 15th, 22nd, 29th, and October 6th from 6:00–7:30 PM. This series explores the living tradition of sacred music as a deeper encounter with the beauty of God and the voice of the Church, welcoming musicians, devoted listeners, and anyone moved by music in worship. The series will be led by Fr. Jonathan Duncan, a priest, chaplain, and scholar of liturgy and church music, and Adam Pajan, Director of Sacred Music at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and an accomplished concert organist. Join us at Christ On Main on Saturday, September 19th at 3:00 PM for a presentation by Kevin and Mary O’Neill titled “The Master Build: Constructing a Faith that Lasts.” This engaging talk will equip you with practical tools to confidently share the Catholic faith, strengthen your domestic church, and pass on the Deposit of Faith to the next generation. As the award-winning authors and illustrators of the Building Blocks of Faith series, the O’Neills combine years of teaching, writing, and speaking to help families discover the biblical foundations of the Sacraments and grow in a lasting, vibrant faith. Join us at Christ On Main on Thursday, October 1st at 7:00 PM for a presentation by Kaitlyn Curtin, “Battlefield Medics: The Greek Doctors of the Church.” Exploring the lives and contributions of St. John Chrysostom, St. Gregory Nazianzen, St. Basil the Great, and St. Athanasius, this talk compares their theological work to that of battlefield medics, tending to the wounds of a Church and world marked by conflict and confusion. This is the second of four stand-alone talks exploring how the Doctors of the Church have shaped our understanding and practice of the Catholic faith. Registration is required.
